Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with dyslexia, utilizing Reading By Design or comparable evidence-based intervention programs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
- Lead instruction across K-5 core subject areas, adapting curriculum to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
- Manage student files, document service delivery, and track academic progress to ensure compliance with individualized education goals.
- Partner with Special Education and Intervention teams to coordinate support and refine instructional strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Valid Texas Special Education Certification for Grades K-5
- Valid Texas Content Area / Generalist Certification (K-5)
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card
