Job Description – Radiology Technologist
Comprehensive Outpatient Medical Facility – Boston, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week – 4x10s, Tuesday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
Position Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic exams in a busy, comprehensive outpatient setting, supporting physicians and clinical staff while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging. This role requires strong technical skill, adaptability, and professional communication in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate positioning, exposure techniques, and image quality for clinical interpretation.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary outpatient care team to support efficient patient flow.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for exam documentation (training provided if needed).
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
- Follow all radiation safety guidelines, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
- Provide excellent patient service, communicating clearly and compassionately during exams.
- Optional: Support fluoroscopy procedures if skilled (not required).
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) – Required
- Massachusetts Radiation Control License (may apply after offer; 2–3 week turnaround; reimbursed)
- BLS Certification – Required by start date
- Carestream experience preferred but not required
- Fluoroscopy experience a plus, not required
EMR:
- EPIC (training provided if needed)

- Parking available for $55/month (fully reimbursed)
- Easily accessible via public transit (two stops within walking distance)
