- Site is connected to the main hospital via a covered walking bridge
- Small inpatient population
- Staffed with 4 Radiation Therapists per machine
- Equipment: Varian
- Software: ARIA
- No QA duties required – therapist will be treating patients for the full shift
Job Summary
The Radiation Therapist will deliver daily radiation treatments using Varian equipment and ARIA software. This role is ideal for an experienced therapist who enjoys taking initiative, supporting newer staff, and acting as a senior presence on shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments throughout the full shift
- Operate Varian linear accelerators using ARIA software
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Support and guide newer staff members as needed
- Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current ARRT (T) Certification
- Minimum 3 years of Radiation Therapist experience
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced therapist comfortable acting as the senior therapist on shift
- Enjoys precepting and mentoring newer staff
