Description
Pride Health is seeking a skilled Neuro EEG Technician to join a respected healthcare institution in Hattiesburg, MS 39401. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about neurodiagnostics and patient-centered care.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for performing EEG procedures, monitoring patients, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and continuous EEG studies according to established protocols
- Monitor EEG recordings and promptly report abnormalities or technical issues
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of EEG equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and test documentation
- Provide patient preparation, education, and support during procedures
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and departmental policies
- Support laboratory operations as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
- Prior experience as an EEG Technician – Required
- ASET Certification – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Sensitivity to patient needs and ability to function in a clinical environment
