Travel Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a registered and competent Radiology Technologist able to work independently and cover inpatient (IP), emergency room (ER), operating room (OR), and outpatient (OP) exams. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, a positive attitude, compassion, and empathy. Advanced skills include performing all CT exams, including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring.

Facility & Unit Information

• 199 beds total, including a 22-bed ER and 32-bed Critical Care Unit
• Equipment: GE stationary and portable X-ray machines with Konica DR detectors
• Documentation system: Meditech
• No floating policy
• Dress code: Scrubs (any color)

Required Qualifications

• Licenses: New Mexico State Radiology Technologist License
• Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Additional Requirements

• Must be fingerprinted and undergo a background check per New Mexico state regulations (travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised)
• Ability to work independently and cover multiple areas (IP, ER, OR, OP)
• Must have flexibility and strong interpersonal skills
