Description
PAY: $33.00 – $52.80/hour (based on 2–20 years of experience)
SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $20,000
RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Up to $2,500 reimbursement
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – CLINICAL DECISION UNIT (CDU)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and limited critical infusions. The CDU RN delivers patient-centered care using ANA Standards and the Nursing Process while serving as a strong patient advocate in a fast-paced, clinically focused environment.
SHIFT DETAILS
- Shifts may include day, evening, or night assignments per departmental policy
- Required to work weekends based on unit needs
- Scheduled off at least three holidays per year
- Occasional overtime as needed
COMPENSATION & INCENTIVES
- Competitive hourly pay: $33.00 – $52.80/hour (based on experience)
- Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $2,500 relocation reimbursement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct nursing care to CDU patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Manage patients undergoing cardiac and cardiac/peripheral vascular procedures
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Utilize equipment and clinical technology competently and safely
- Administer medications and manage medication inventory and delivery as required
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care needs
- Act as a patient advocate while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with nursing standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must hold licensure in the state of permanent residency
- American Heart Association BLS required
- ACLS required within 12 months of employment
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification obtained during orientation
