<p>Requirements </p><ul><li><strong>Must have experience in both Labor &amp; Delivery.</strong></li><li>Current Montana/Compact RN license <strong>required</strong>.</li><li>NRP</li><li>Stable</li><li>BLS</li></ul><p>Responsibilities - </p><ul><li>The L&amp;D RN monitors maternal and fetal well‑being, manages labor progression, assists with deliveries, and responds promptly to obstetric emergencies. </li><li>This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during one of the most significant moments of their lives.</li><li>Provides for safe, efficient and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care for Labor &amp; Delivery and Obstetrics.</li><li> Includes administering medications, performing cervical exams within scope, interpreting fetal monitoring strips, preparing patients for operative deliveries, and providing postpartum education. </li><li>This nurse plays a critical role in promoting a positive birth experience and ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn.</li></ul>
