Description

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years RN experience (first-timers may be considered)
CA RN license in-hand
Epic charting experience preferred
Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year
2 supervisory references covering 1 year experience in a comparable specialty
Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities if required

Certifications:

BLS – required
ACLS – required

Skills: Cath Lab procedures: Coronary diagnostic & interventional procedures Peripheral vascular diagnostic & intervention Permanent pacemaker insertion Cardiac stent placement, angioplasty, IABP placement/removal Left & right heart catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, TEE Central venous access / port placement Patient Monitoring & Care: Ventilator management, End-tidal CO2 monitoring Procedural sedation monitoring & administration Sheath removal, vascular closure systems Infection prevention, isolation precautions, PPE IV & Medication Management: IV therapy, PICC lines & implanted ports care Blood product administration Medications: antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, thrombolytics Emergency & Support: Cardioversion, ACT monitoring, 12-lead EKG/ECG Assist with central line insertion/management
