Description
Beds: 20 infusion rooms and 1-2 COVID spots
•
• Hours: 0630-1700
•
• Minimal experience: 1.5 years (per system requirement)
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
• Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
• Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
• Patient Types:
•
• Outpatient ambulatory patients requiring infusions for RA, GI, immunotherapy, MS, blood transfusions, hydration, Iron, antibiotics, injections, and other infusions as ordered.
• Patient Ratios:

• RN: 1:7
• Required Certifications:

• BLS
• Required Education:
•
• Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Skills required:
•
• Excellent IV skills and experience with all VADs, both peripheral and central
• Knowledge of immunotherapy medication
• Prefer an RN with IV immunotherapy/infusion experience. One of the biggest skill sets is IV starts and line access.
