Position Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department serving patients of all ages and acuity levels. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Unit Details:

• Emergency Department with 15 treatment beds plus a 6-bed fast-track area
• Cares for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Accurately document care using the electronic medical record system

Schedule:

• Variable shifts including days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend and holiday coverage required

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse license (required)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
• TNCC (required)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
