Travel X‑Ray Technologist – South Charleston, WV

Gross Pay: $3,001/week

Start Date: 2/23

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Two 8‑hour shifts (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.) + Two 12‑hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.)

Position Overview

A busy imaging department in South Charleston, WV is seeking a skilled Travel X‑Ray Tech to support evening and overnight coverage. This role is ideal for a technologist comfortable working independently, managing a steady ED and inpatient caseload, and delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging during off‑shift hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent X‑Ray experience
• Active ARRT (R)
• Current BLS
• Proficiency with trauma, portable, and fluoroscopy exams
• Strong critical‑thinking and patient‑care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic exams across ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently during evening and overnight shifts
• Ensure accurate positioning, image quality, and timely workflow
• Collaborate with nursing, ED providers, and radiologists
• Maintain documentation and follow all facility, state, and ARRT standards
