Position Overview

A traveler‑friendly hospital in Weirton, WV is seeking an experienced X‑Ray Technologist to support variable 10‑hour shifts across diagnostic imaging services. This role is ideal for a tech who is confident working independently, adaptable to changing department needs, and comfortable with a mix of ED, inpatient, and outpatient exams.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent X‑Ray experience
• Active ARRT (R)
• Current BLS
• Active WV Radiologic Technologist License
• Strong positioning, image‑quality, and workflow‑management skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic exams across ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently during variable 10‑hour shifts
• Ensure accurate positioning, proper radiation safety, and timely exam completion
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and ED providers
• Maintain documentation and follow all facility, state, and ARRT standards
