Position: RN – Home Health
Location: Avenue North, Wilmington, DE 19803
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: AM shift, 5×8s (40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP (for scheduled orientation)
Pay Cycle: Weekly

Requirements

• Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Delaware RN license required
• Coverage area: up to a 60-mile radius

Credentialing

• Local rate applies within a 50-mile radius
• Non-resident DE license:
  • Must allow 5 weeks for credentialing
  • In-person fingerprints required in Delaware
  • Nurse must travel to DE once accepted to begin the process
  • Results post 3–4 weeks after fingerprints
• Standard credentialing timeline: 5–10 business days

Schedule Details

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Work Week: 40 hours

On-Call Requirements (Travel RNs)

• 2 on-call shifts per month (maximum 3)
• On-call rate: $7/hour
• Paid regular hourly rate for:
  • Patient phone triage
  • Patient home visits
• On-call hours:
  • 4:30pm – 8:00am
  • Sometimes split as:
    • 4:30pm – 8:30pm
    • 8:30pm – 8:00am
• No home visits from 8:30pm – 8:00am (phone triage only)
• Typical call volume:
  • 1–2 calls between 8:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Rare calls between 10:00pm – 7:00am

Weekend Requirements

• 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Typically Saturday and Sunday
• Option: 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks (if preferred)

• Alternate weekday off provided to avoid 6–7 consecutive workdays
