Description

Position: Diagnostic Imaging Manager

Facility: Adventist - Sierra Vista

Location: 1010 Murray Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405

Contact Duration: 13 weeks with a possible extension.

Shift Timing: (5x8) Day shift (8:00 am–4:30 pm)

Hours per week: 40 hours.

Licenses & Certifications (Required—one or more)

ARRT (R, CT, MRI, M)
Fluoroscopy experience

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Department, overseeing patient services, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and equipment operations. Ensures full compliance with local, state (California), and federal regulations, including CMS and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Provides direct supervision and leadership to multidisciplinary imaging staff, exercising independent judgment and managerial discretion.

Required Certifications: CRT, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy
Experience: Prior management experience with California regulatory requirements; CMS and TJC experience required.

Requirements

ARRT, and Fluoroscopy certifications required
Proven management experience in a diagnostic imaging setting
Strong knowledge of California regulations, CMS, and TJC standards

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Required
Master’s degree: Preferred
Five years of registered technologist experience: Preferred
One year of leadership experience: Preferred
