Patient Ratios:

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

We are a 16 bed ER that will flex up when high census. Our nurse patient ratio usually is 4:1.
We have ER techs. who assist in starting IV's. drawing labs, transporting patients, assisting with splints and Codes. We have dedicated charge nurses that assist with patient flow.
At 1000am, we have another provider and nurse assigned to help the 0700am team. At 1100am, we have received another nurse and midlevel. At 1200n, another nurse joins the team.
We do POCT tests for urine pregnancy, strep., gastroccults, hemoccults, glucose.
