Location : Julesburg, CO 

Position Details
•    Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
•    Shift:12-Hour Nights
•    Contract Length: 8 Weeks
•    Start Date: ASAP / March 2, 2026
•    Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
•    On Call: No

Facility & Unit Overview
•    Critical Access Hospital
•    15-bed facility
•    Patient Population: Birth to Geriatric
•    Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1
•    Floating Required:
o    RN will work Emergency Department and float to Med/Surg as needed

Common Patient Diagnoses
•    COPD
•    Diabetes
•    CHF
•    Cardiac conditions
•    Trauma

Required Experience (HARD STOPS)
•    Minimum 2 years inpatient RN experience
•    Strong ED experience required
•    Must be comfortable floating to Med/Surg
•    Experience with cardiac and diabetic drips
•    Telemetry experience required

Certifications (REQUIRED – MUST BE ACTIVE AT SUBMISSION)
•    BLS
•    ACLS
•    TNCC

Licensure 
•    Active Colorado RN License required at time of submission
•    No pending or future licenses accepted

EMR
•    Cerner – REQUIRED

Scheduling Notes
•    12-hour night shifts
•    ASAP start needed
•    Short-term 8-week contract
