Travel RN – Labor &amp; Delivery (L&amp;D) Start: ASAP | Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights AND Days (2 openings per shift)Overtime: OT applies after 48 regular hours workedLocal Travelers: Accepted (no rate difference) Schedule<ul><li>Primary: 4x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM/ 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM</li></ul>Unit Overview<ul><li>Approximately 130 deliveries per month / 1,300 annually</li><li>Level II Nursery (no requirement to float to L2)</li><li>Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines</li><li>Self-scheduling available, based on unit needs</li><li>Charting System: Meditech</li></ul>Required Experience<ul><li>Labor &amp; Delivery and Postpartum experience required</li><li>Must be able to independently read and interpret fetal and cardiac rhythms</li><li>Floating required between Labor and Postpartum</li><li>Patient ratios vary based on acuity</li></ul>Certifications Required<ul><li>AHA BLS</li><li>ACLS</li><li>NRP</li></ul>Orientation<ul><li>Orientation will be on days</li><li>1–3 days of orientation including C-section and baby nurse exposure</li></ul>IMPORTANT – Rhythm Exam Requirement<ul><li>All RNs must complete an 11–16 question rhythm exam on Day 1 of orientation</li><li>Exam is pass/fail</li><li>Includes rhythm recognition such as A-fib and asystole</li><li>Failure results in immediate contract termination</li><li>A study guide is available and will be included with FDI submission</li></ul>
