TRAVEL RN – CVICU (Cost Center 653)

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: Nashville, TN
13-Week Travel Assignment

Unit Overview

Unit: CVICU (Tower Building)
Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 for select device patients
Cost Center: 653 / 64125
Documentation: Meditech

Patient Population & Procedures

Immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
ECMO, CentriMag, HM3 LVADs
IABP, Impella, CRRT
PA catheter management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Central line and Swan-Ganz catheter care
Intubations and critical bedside procedures

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of CVICU or high-acuity ICU experience
Strong critical care background with CVICU experience
Proficiency with PA catheters and hemodynamic monitoring

Certifications Required

BLS
ACLS

Equipment & Technology

Philips bedside telemetry monitors
Hill-Rom beds
Alaris IV pumps

Scheduling & Floating

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekends: 2 weekends per month
Floating: As needed to other ICUs and occasionally other units

Pay Package (Weekly)

Gross Pay: $2,060/week
Stipend: $1,484/week
W2 Rate: $16/hour
