Requirements

Active RN license
Recent ED or ICU experience (required)
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (required)
PALS certification highly preferred (candidates without PALS may be considered but are not ideal)
EPIC charting is required.
Must have a personal vehicle for assignment

Schedule & Work Expectations

Floating between units as needed
No on-call required
Weekends required (days and/or nights; variable with weekdays)
Block schedules not available
No set ratios
48-hour schedules not approved
Travelers should expect regular floating based on skills and staffing needs

Floating & Facility Coverage

AYA Healthcare professionals may float to other units and facilities to meet the needs of PH&S.

Portland
Hood River
Willamette Falls
Seaside
Saint Vincent

Seaside Floating Incentives:

+$5/hr incentive for hours worked
IRS mileage reimbursement
Hotel accommodations for consecutive shifts
Advance notice provided when possible
