Description

A leading pediatric-focused facility in Aurora is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor for a 13-week travel contract. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine professional with pediatric experience who is comfortable in a leadership or supervisory capacity and proficient across both general and PET Nuclear Medicine procedures.

 

Assignment Details
Location: Aurora, CO
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Dates: 03/17/2026 – 06/20/2026
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, day shift
Weekend Requirement: None
On-Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: None
50-mile radius rule applies
First-time travelers will not be considered

 

Responsibilities
• Perform and oversee general and PET Nuclear Medicine studies
• Maintain strict radiation safety and sterile technique standards
• Supervise and support department workflow and patient care
• Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals, including pediatric patients
• Ensure accurate documentation and PACS workflow
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and imaging staff

 

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (NMTCB or ARRT pathway)
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Pediatric Nuclear Medicine experience required
• Pediatric IV experience required (newborn through young adult populations)
• Minimum 3+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• New travelers will not be considered
• PET and General Nuclear Medicine experience
• Pediatric imaging experience
• Siemens SPECT and PET scanner experience
• Experience with FDG PET body and brain, MIBG, MAG3 renogram, sentinel lymph node, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid scan, lung perfusion, brain death studies, seizure SPECT, I-131 MIBG radiotherapy, and I-131 oral thyroid therapy

 

Additional Assignment Notes
• Personnel may be floated or reassigned within clinical competence and within 35 miles of the assigned facility if needed
• No requested time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions permitted
