Atlantic Health System is seeking Travel X-Ray Technicians to support the Radiology Department at Morristown Medical Center due to vacant positions. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced radiography professionals to join a high-quality healthcare system.

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional standards while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures per established guidelines
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and physical comfort during procedures
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Coordinate and prioritize daily imaging procedures
• Assess and respond to the need for procedural revisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
• Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• ARRT certification (required)
• New Jersey State RT License (required)
• BLS certification (required)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment setup, use, and maintenance
• Familiarity with healthcare informatics and imaging technology trends
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Schedule

• Approximately 37.5 hours per week
• Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-call required
• Every other weekend rotation
• 13-hour shifts
