ER Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week local contract assignment.

Position Details:

• Shift: Mid-shift | 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start date: 03/11/2026
• Call: No call required
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $60.00/hour (local rate)
• Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Description:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ER RN will assess patient conditions, prioritize care based on acuity, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, medication administration, monitoring patient status, assisting with emergency procedures, and patient/family education. The ER RN must be able to respond effectively to medical emergencies while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to hospital policies and standards of care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Emergency Room experience required
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
