ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract
 

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Lenexa, Kansas.

Position Details:

• Shift: Nights| 7:15 PM-06:15AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Call: No call requirement
• Scheduling: Block scheduling will be considered
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Contract Dates: Start: 03/11/2026 to 06/10/2026
• Local rate of $60.00 an hour -50 miles or less

Float Requirement:

• May float to Med Surg and PCU as needed

Job Description:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, high-acuity patient care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced clinical interventions. The ICU RN is responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, operating and monitoring complex medical equipment, and responding to rapidly changing patient needs. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.

Requirements & Certifications:

• Active RN license
• Recent ICU experience required
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• Ability to float to Med Surg and PCU as needed
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
