Job Description

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, RRT, GA State License

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Ventilator management, medicated aerosol treatments. Bipap management, Open Heart, intubation, ABG draws and analysis, CPT, Nitric, Covid management.

Ratio / Census: We are a 24/7 department with 11-13 therapist on day shift and 9-10 therapist on nights. We cover All floors through the hospital including a 30 bed ICU/ 25 Bed Open Heart unit, 25 bed NICU unit, and a 45 bed ED.

Unit Systems: Required experience with Epic, Puritan Bennett, Servo I, GE Care Fusion

Scrub Color: Any color except all red or all navy blue

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere

Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed

Call Requirements: None

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment)
