Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Albany, GA
Shift: Days and Nights both available,  12hours per shift
Expected Hours: 36 hours a week (48 hours also available)
Job Type: Contract , 17 weeks initially

Job Overview:

Med-Surg nurses provide direct care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and those recovering from surgery. They play a key role in patient monitoring, treatment, and coordination of care in fast-paced hospital units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments, and perform clinical procedures safely.
  Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and follow care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure patient safety, maintain infection control, and provide compassionate, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
   

Required Qualifications:

• GA or Compact State RN License
• 2 years of RN experience (Acute Care)
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS
