REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Traveler Experience: Will take 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, ER Setting
Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIHSS, TNCC. Conscious sedation, Triage.


JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios:1: 4-6.
Shift: NIGHTS;
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend is required.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General patient population serving neonates to centenarians.


SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: 12 Rooms/beds.


UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Unit uses MediTech older version for documentation and then communication is SBAR like with bedside handoff.


UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours of hospital orientation.


SCRUBS: Navy

EKG Test required

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
