Job Summary

• The Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry provides safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care to a designated group of patients.
• The RN applies evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and the Swanson Model of Care to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• This role supports quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and effective unit operations while supervising licensed and non-licensed staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in accordance with policies and patient condition
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge
• Delegate and supervise care activities for licensed and non-licensed staff
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor and promote teamwork and professional development
• Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and practice governance standards

Required Qualifications

Education

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years acute care Registered Nurse experience
• Epic EHR experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Kentucky RN license at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS

Schedule

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
