Description

Experience Required:

Critical Care experience (Adult and Nursery/NICU required)
Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Level I Trauma experience preferred
Experience managing multiple ventilators simultaneously (typically 4–6 vents)
Experience covering general care units (2–3 patient assignments)
Education:
Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Licensure & Certifications (Required):

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) – Illinois Department of Professional
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Academy of Pediatrics-Preferred.
