Position Title: Mammography Technologist                                

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Local Only: $65/hr

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.  The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results.  The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival. 

 Requirements:

All start dates are rough estimates. Orientations are pre-scheduled with LA General Radiology's department and are dependent on the following -
- Timely completion of Amergis onboarding
- Health Clearance provided by LA County's Employee Health Services Department - ONLY PROVIDED ONCE ALL MEDICALS ARE COMPLETED AND E2 PACKET IS COMPILED
- HR Appointment is completed with clean fingerprints and Badge provided (HR appointment will not be scheduled until Health Clearance is issued)

Candidate MUST retrieve Employee Health Clearance prior to HR Appointment + Orientation Date. Medicals are as follows:
- 2-step TB, T-Spot OR TB Quantiferon
- Mask Fit Test (MUST BE COUNTY APPROVED MASK)
- Physical
- MMR Titers
- County Livescan
- References
- LA County E2 Packet
- Hep B
- Badge Photo

Must have special procedures/biopsy experience.
