Description

Job Summary:

Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be prepared to care for patients during critical and urgent situations.
ED RNs provide specialized and innovative emergency care services.
ED RNs handle a wide range of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
Emergency Department nurses are trained to manage various trauma cases.
Trauma situations often require quick thinking and decisive action.
Ideal ED RNs can rapidly and accurately assess incoming patients.
ED RNs evaluate both physical and mental health conditions.
ED RNs prioritize patient injuries and medical needs effectively.

Comments:

Busy unit environment.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
Every other weekend is required.
3 out of 6 holidays are required.
NOR: No on-call required.
Float requirements are within the facility.
Floating is limited to like units.
