Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Orange, CA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 5x8 (08:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Imaging, and PET/CT in a MAGNET-designated Acute Care Hospital. This role requires strong cardiac nuclear medicine experience and the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies
Conduct cardiac nuclear imaging including Lexiscan and stress testing
Perform SPECT imaging (Bone, Brain, Liver, Renal, Myocardial)
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage IV access
Execute thyroid, renal, liver, lung, tumor localization, and bone scans
Perform myocardial perfusion imaging (Exercise/Rest, Pharmacologic Stress)
Utilize GE and Siemens imaging systems
Maintain high-quality imaging standards and ensure patient safety
Document exams using Epic (preferred)
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

2+ years Nuclear Medicine experience (HARD STOP)
Strong Cardiac Nuclear Medicine experience (REQUIRED – HARD STOP)
NMTCB Certification
BLS Certification
California State License
Experience with General Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT
