Job Summary

• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 19:00 – 07:00

Unit Details

• Weekend Requirement: Rotation (to be discussed during interview)
• Call Requirement: Yes, variable
  • Typically one weekday call per week
  • One weekend call every 5–6 weeks
• Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, as needed

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• First-time travelers accepted

Clinical Screening

• Candidate reviewed by clinical team to determine fit
• If clinical is passed and within Piedmont guidelines, profile sent to hiring manager for final decision
• Clinical screens sent on a case-by-case basis

Time Off & Scheduling

• RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 7 days

Holiday Requirement

• If one major holiday falls during the assignment, traveler is expected to work it
• If two major holidays fall during the assignment, traveler is expected to work both
• If three major holidays fall during the assignment, traveler is expected to work two

Major Holidays

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving / Black Friday
• Christmas Eve / Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day

Compliance

• Full compliance required to start on time
• If compliance is delayed, start date pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Additional Notes

• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length:
  • 8 hours for 8-week assignment
  • 10 hours for 10-week assignment
