Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist – Nights | Spokane, WA

13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma hospital in Spokane, WA. Seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to work night shifts (4×10-hour shifts, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM) with block scheduling and rotating weekends.

The MLS will function as a hospital generalist, performing moderate- and high-complexity testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank. Responsibilities include ABO/Rh typing, crossmatching, antibody screening and identification, transfusion reaction workups, specimen processing, QC review, and critical value reporting. The role utilizes Epic EMR and modern laboratory instrumentation.

Requirements:

ASCP certification or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of acute-care hospital laboratory experience
Strong Blood Bank and generalist skill set
Comfortable working nights and rotating weekends
