Description

Position Title

Travel Clinical Microbiology Lab Scientist
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Facility: Good Samaritan Hospital

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)

Active California Clinical Microbiologist License
OR
Active California CLS License
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical microbiology experience
Hands-on experience performing:
- Plating
- Reading micro plates
- Microbiology-based chemical reactions
- Working with Microscan
- Working with Bruker MALDI
Experience identifying microorganisms in a clinical laboratory
Some experience working as a generalist in a clinical lab
EMR: Meditech

Schedule & Other Details

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekends: Rotating
On Call: None
Floating: Processing of microbiology samples
Dress Code: Scrubs preferred
