Position Overview:
- Conduct and update Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the purpose of challenging behaviors and develop evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct behavioral support to K-12 students using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the district to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
- Monitor and analyze behavioral data, including creating graphical representations, to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and inform necessary adjustments to student programming and IEP goals.
- Offer technical assistance and staff development to school personnel on positive behavioral supports, classroom management systems, and crisis intervention techniques.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Valid National Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
