Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Castro Valley, CA
Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise therapy assistants, and collaborate closely with patients, families, and facility staff. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and provide skilled physical therapy services to patients
- Develop and document treatment plans and progress notes accurately and timely
- Supervise therapy assistants and support staff, providing guidance and coaching
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, Medicare, and OSHA standards
- Participate in facility meetings, continuing education, and special projects
- Maintain current CPR certification and licensure
Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active California Physical Therapist license
- Strong communication, clinical problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and supervise support staff
- Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed
