NUCLEAR MEDICINE - TECHNOLOGIST

DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Norwich, CT
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week – Day Shift, Rotating Saturdays (No Call)

Responsibilities

Perform a full spectrum of nuclear medicine procedures, including General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac, and PET imaging
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE 850 systems
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort
Utilize Epic for documentation and patient workflow management
Manage imaging and documentation through Sectra PACS and NucTrack systems
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and radiation safety standards

Required Qualifications

Current CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Demonstrated competency in General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac, and PET imaging

Preferred Experience

Experience with GE 850 imaging systems
Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
Experience with Sectra PACS and NucTrack systems
Prior hospital-based nuclear medicine experience
