Description

TRAVEL / LOCUM RADIATION THERAPIST RTT ROLE 

(Direct contract opportunity, not an agency; also includes referral bonus)

 

Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Facility: Eastern Oregon Cancer Center (freestanding outpatient clinic)

Equipment: Elekta Synergy, Mosaiq, VisionRT

 

Start Date: March 4 (or March 9)

Schedule: 5x8

Shift: Weekdays only, NO on-call or weekends

Hours: 40 hours guaranteed

Duration: 4 week minimum (open to longer; opportunities to extend as well)

 

PAY: $3,400 per week

  • Equivalent to $85/hr all-in
  • Subsidized housing is available
  • Per diem proposed is maximum allowed for housing & meals, but can discuss further

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Will need to get Oregon licensed, if not already licensed in Oregon

Other

  • This is a direct contract opportunity (no staffing agency involved)
  • Preferred: Experience with Elekta but not required
  • This is a travel contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension – and if interested, can be a locum/temp to permanent, full-time opportunity as well.

About the Center

Eastern Oregon Cancer Center (EOCC) in Pendleton is a community-based, freestanding outpatient radiation oncology clinic serving Eastern Oregon. Newly built in 2019, EOCC's mission is to provide state-of-the-art radiation therapy close to home in a patient-centered, supportive healing environment. EOCC is the only radiation oncology center in Eastern Oregon. For patients who need to travel for care, a patient house is available to provide no-cost lodging to help reduce the burden of treatment.

 

About Pendleton

Pendleton is the cultural and historical hub of Eastern Oregon in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. It is home of the Pendleton Woolen Mills, Pendleton Round-Up (top 10 rodeo), a vibrant downtown, and year-round events like the Pendleton Whisky Music Festival. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking, fishing, golf, and skiing, while Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities, known for their wineries and restaurants, are just an hour away.

The main regional airport is in Pasco / Tri-Cities, Eastern Washington, which is little over an hour drive from Pendleton. There are direct flights into Pasco from Los Angeles (2 hrs 30 mins), San Francisco (2 hrs), and Seattle (1 hr 10 min). Pendleton has an airport in town with a direct daily commuter flight from Portland (50 minutes). It is also a 3.5 hour drive from Portland and Boise, and 4.5 hrs from Seattle.  

 

Referral Bonus

Earn $500 for completed locum/travel assignment and $1000 for hired full-time referral.
