Description

RN – Med Surg | Nights | Ellsworth, ME

Shift: 7P–7A | 12-hour nights
Start: ASAP
Facility: 64-bed hospital | 27-bed unit
Charting: Cerner

Ratios:

Nights: 1:5
Charge nurse takes assignment most shifts

Required Experience & Skills:

2+ years RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
Previous Charge RN experience highly preferred (must be willing to train and act as Charge if needed)
Experience with chest tubes, trachs, drains, wound vacs
IV starts (2 attempts required before IV team assist), IVABX, Heparin drips, PCAs, epidurals (rare)
Tele strip interpretation preferred but not required
BLS required | ACLS preferred

Floating:

May float to ICU (Med Surg level patients)
May float to ED for task/helping hands
