Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel contract job in Springfield, Illinois. Assignment Overview
13-week travel contract
Anticipated late-February start
Full-time schedule; specific shift details provided during interview
Adult patient population in a hospital-based cath lab environment

Responsibilities
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and equipment prior to cases
Monitor patients and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Operate fluoroscopic imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems as applicable
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Ensure proper handling of supplies, contrast, and equipment
Support patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure room turnover

Requirements
RCIS (CCI) credential required, or ARRT with Cath Lab experience
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile procedural technique
Required: Illinois license, or willingness to obtain
Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity procedural environment
