Description

Flex Pool RN – Medical/Surgical Float (Night Shift)

Location: Hospital Setting
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 1845–0715
Hours: 36 hours/week Scheduled

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Flex Registered Nurse (RN) to float between Medical, Surgical Acute, and occasional Cardiovascular units. Ideal for adaptable travel nurses comfortable working in multiple care settings.

Units & Ratios

Medical Unit (77 beds):
- Days/Eves: 1:6
- Nights: 1:8
Laulima Unit – Surgical Acute (18 beds): 1:6
Cardiovascular Unit (15 beds): 1:4 (rare floating)
Ratios may vary based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care across assigned units
Administer medications and treatments per protocol
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
Document care using Meditech EMR
Use equipment including Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes

Requirements

2+ years RN experience (Med-Surg preferred)
Comfortable floating between units
Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills

Certifications

Required: BLS, ACLS & NIHSS

Both Shifts are available Days & Nights.
