Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 13-week travel assignment. The LCSW will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge coordination for patients in an acute hospital setting. This role also functions in a supervisory/team lead capacity, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
Provide diagnosis and therapeutic intervention
Support patients and families coping with hospitalization, illness, and life changes
Assist with discharge planning and coordination of post-acute services
Provide consultation to the healthcare team
Address emotional, mental health, and substance abuse concerns
Serve in a team lead/supervisory role when needed

Requirements

Active California LCSW license – Required
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) – Required
Minimum 1 year of acute or long-term medical setting experience – Required
2+ years acute hospital experience – Preferred
Experience with Medi-Cal and Medicare – Required
Acute Hospital Care experience required

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift)
Weekly Hours: 40
Duration: 13 weeks
No on-call required
