Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psych
Engagement Type: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 12-hour shifts- Day (7a-7p)
Schedule: 3 days per week

Position Overview:

Registered Nurses(RNs) provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility. Responsibilities include assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel. Additionally, shift differential may available, and one meal is provided per shift.

Required:

Flexible to facility scheduling
Experience in a Geriatric Psych Nursing specialty
Highly skilled in De-Escalation

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing.
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana.
Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience required
Experience in inpatient mental health settings preferred
Strong assessment, crisis management, and de-escalation skills
Ability to work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and documentation skills
