Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel/Contract
Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts 01950
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
On-Call Requirement: Yes, rotating as needed

Position Overview:

A 13-week contract position is available for a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist at a healthcare facility in Massachusetts. This role requires a professional with demonstrated competency in GE imaging systems, the ability to manage a full daily caseload, and the flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation. The position offers stable weekday hours and a competitive compensation package for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Operate and calibrate GE imaging equipment with proficiency
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under appropriate supervision
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety guidelines
Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays as assigned
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

Licensure: Active Massachusetts (MA) license in good standing
Certification: ARRT (N) required
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of recent, full-time experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Equipment Requirement: Must possess verifiable experience with GE nuclear medicine cameras and related software
On-Call Readiness: Must be available to participate in call rotation
Compliance: No local candidates will be considered. Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Compensation & Benefits:

Guaranteed 40 hours per week
