Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 23:00)

Requirements:

2+ yrs. of exp. Required.

Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State of Wisconsin required

BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT(NBRC) Required.

Trauma Level I Experience Preferred.

Trauma Level II Experience Required.

Pediatric and adult experience required

EPIC Required.

Description:

Evening/Night, 8/12 hr shifts, 19:00-07:30, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:30, with every other weekend, holidays, 1-On call shift every 6-week schedule.

Licensure and Certification:
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State of Wisconsin required
RRT credentialed by National Board for Respiratory Care required
BLS?–?must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY required
PALS and NRP –?must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY required

Experience:
Two years minimum as staff therapist?
Pediatric and adult experience required
Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
Prior traveler experience highly preferred

Education:??
?? Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory Care

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to:
Work with an inter-disciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care.
Provide aerosolized medication, volume expansion, airway clearance techniques, tracheostomy cares and sputum inductions to patients.
Work with non-invasive ventilation, high flow and mechanical ventilation at IMC and ICU level
Collaborate with physicians, care team leaders, staff nurses, other caregiving disciplines, and patients/families to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for each patient.

Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.

Floating - Travelers are the first to float.?Depending on the current staffing needs,?the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract.
