Description

Job Title: Radiology Technologist (ARRT Registered)

Job Summary:

The Registered Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality images in accordance with departmental and industry standards. Responsible for patient preparation, positioning, radiation safety, and ensuring quality and infection control compliance. Provides age-appropriate patient education and may assist in training students.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate imaging equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images
Prepare and educate patients for procedures
Apply proper positioning and imaging techniques
Ensure radiation safety and infection control standards
Maintain equipment quality control
Support and oversee radiology students as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of general radiology experience
ARRT (R) certification
State Radiology Technologist License (RAD)
BLS certification

Schedule:

6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Four (4) 8-hour on-call shifts per month
