Description

Our client is currently seeking a Travel MRI Tech:

MRI Technologist – Atlanta, GA

Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Days, 4×10 (07:00–17:30) Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech

Unit Details

Transplant‑capable facility
Primary stroke center
Heavy MRI/MRA workload

Schedule

Saturday–Tuesday
Call: 1 call weekend every 6 weeks

Floating

Floating required within scope of practice
May float to outpatient imaging as needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience
First‑time travelers accepted

Clinical Review

Candidate may undergo a clinical screen to determine fit
If clinically approved and within guidelines, profile moves to manager review
Clinical screens assigned case‑by‑case

RTO Policy

Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
Must be submitted at time of profile

Holiday Requirements

Travelers must work holidays based on assignment length:

If 1 major holiday falls in assignment → traveler works 1
If 2 major holidays fall → traveler works both
If 3 major holidays fall → traveler works 2

Major Holidays:

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving / Black Friday
Christmas Eve / Christmas Day
New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day

Compliance

Full compliance required to start on time
If not compliant, start date pushes 2 weeks due to bi‑weekly orientation
