Description

Duration: 13 Weeks Min. Exp: 2 yrs Certification: BLS and ARRT (R) Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts 1:00 - 11:00pm every 3rd weekend (flexible days, afternoons, 8, 10, 12, hrs.) rotation possible weekend and midnight on call. Preferred: OR Experience (Manager is willing to train OR exp) Must have: Level II Trauma experience in a Hospital setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work in the hospital with a fixed unit and/or in the IPD/OR/ER, etc. with a mobile unit.
• May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized.
• May be exposed to high-voltage equipment.
• May be exposed to potentially contagious patients.
• Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients that would be in excess of 10 lbs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
• Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
