Cath Lab Technologist – Clearwater, FL

Location: Clearwater, FL Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4×10 (07:00–17:30 / occasionally until 19:00) Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Travel Experience Required: Yes

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
• First‑time travelers not accepted
• Must have experience with:
  • Scrub
  • EKG
  • Balloon angioplasty
  • PCI
  • Stents
  • Thrombectomy
  • Impella insertion
  • Left & right heart catheterization
  • Rotablator
  • STEMI call

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT‑R
• RCIS (CCI)
• Active Florida license
• National certifications required

Schedule & Call Requirements

• 4×10 Days
• Weekends required
• On‑call required:
  • Typically 1 weekend shift per 4‑week schedule
  • 7–9 call shifts per month (includes weekend call)

Floating

• No floating outside the unit
• No floating to sister facilities

RTO Policy

• No RTO included in contract
• RTO may be discussed during interview if applicable

Guaranteed Hours

• Apply after the first call‑off per pay period

• Chest pain
• NSTEMI
• STEMI
• Valve disease
• Pulmonary hypertension

Procedures performed:

• Left & right heart cath
• CTO
• Complex PCI
• Peripheral & complex peripheral
• Carotid stent

Systems & Equipment

• Charting: Cerner (preferred)
• Equipment: Cath Lab imaging systems and interventional tools
• COVID‑19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
