Description

Travel RN – Med/Surg (Surgical Specialties) – Nights
Location: Columbia, MO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights (7p–7a) | 36 hrs/week

Seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg RN for a 32-bed Surgical Specialties unit. Nurse-patient ratio 1:6 on nights (must be willing to take up to 1:8). Floating to other Med/Surg units, including Orthopedics (sister unit), is required.

Patient Population: Post-op surgical patients including robotic hysterectomy/prostatectomy, colon resection, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, bariatric surgery, amputations, wound management, and vascular procedures.

Required Skills:

IV insertion
PICC/Central line management
Vascular device care
Experience with Alaris pumps, PCA, wound vacs, Pyxis

Requirements:

Active RN license (MO or Compact)
BLS (required)
Previous travel experience required
Most recent 3 assignments must be acute care Med/Surg in medium/large hospitals
No LTC-only backgrounds
